This section is dedicated to Georgian, Regency,
Victorian and Edwardian Dining Tables and sets of antique chairs. Our
tables vary greatly we stock many different styles of antique dining
tables the majority being in mahogany, but we also have antique Victorian
Walnut Tilt Top Tables with marquetry or Rosewood Examples. The style
of tables changed radically over time, in the Georgian Era dining was
more of a private affair and hence small Regency Pembroke Tables were
very popular, one could eat at these in relative solitude in ones room,
the opulence of the Victorian Era brought a total new way of thinking
and dining became extremely social and an important part of life, hence
the importance of large Victorian Extending Dining Tables , often these
can be extended to seat many people by inserting extra leafs. We also
love Twin and Triple Pillar antique dining tables as these are perfect
for narrower dining areas and have loads of leg room. For smaller homes
we find Georgian Pembroke Tables or antique tilt top tables are perfect
and fit well into modern day apartments. To see our selection of antique
tables that are for more occasional use please look in the table section.Click
