A 19th Century Triple Pillar Solid Mahogany Dining Table in the Regency Style. Comprising of 3 pedestals, 2 tripod bases and one quadruple base each featuring vase shaped turned stems above sweeping legs, having brass lion paw castors (of good detail and all original ). Above is a beautiful well figured "D" ended top with reeded detail to the peripheral edge. The top can be reduced or extend by adding or removing leaves...a.go. It may be used in many ways, the 2 "D" ends only (59"), or the "D" ends plus central quadruple base (91.25"), or even the "D" ends, quadruple section and either one (112") or 2 of the leaves (130")..(5 sections in all). Each held in position with brass fasteners which all lock tightly together . The overall length is 10'10" making this a good 12 seater.
Being of the triple pillar design this represents excellent value for money compared to the slightly earlier Georgian examples. It is also worth mentioning that not least of all for taller diners this table is excellent from the respect of unlimited knee space and being under 4' wide is most useful for dining areas of limited widths.

Overall Measurements:
Length 10' 10"
Width 45"
Height 29" (knee space 28.¼")
