Regency Triple Pillar Mahogany Dining Table with satinwood banding

Dating to 1800 this fabulous highly desireable triple pillar Regency dining table in highly figured mahogany has a thick band of decorative satinwood to the top and to the top surface of all the legs. The 3 pillars are raised upon 4 outswept legs each with satinwood veneer and ebony stringing to their tops terminating in brass reeded casters, on gun barrel turned stem. Having 2 extra leafs (possibly associated) this table will comfortably seat 14. It is a beautiful conker colour and presented in fabulous condition. The central and end sections with tilting mechanism means that this wonderful table can be used in many different ways. The triple pillars together with no leafs, the end sections together with no leafs and the central section stored in the upright, making this extremely versatile and perfect for the larger family special occasions. Excellent knee space and being 44" wide perfect for dining areas where a narrow table is needed. Extremely hard to find in this size and condition.
