W1V Extending Dining Table
Circa 1837, a William 1Vth Extending pull
apart Dining Table of broad proportions with 2 extra leaves. A superbly figured
top with thumb moulded edge. The whole raised on upturned lotus leaf supports
with original brass bucket casters. What is unusual about this table is the excellent
knee clearance, the frieze doesn't interferre with room for knees as is often
the case with tables of this age..Will seat 10/12. This item is awaiting restoration
in our workshops and will be available to view shortly.
