buttoned arms chairs, the more show wood the better. We carefully take
off all the old materials to check that the frames are all sound, clamp
and polish as necessary, check the casters, and only then do we start
the re-upholstery process Our extremely skilled in house upholsterer,
carefully, using traditional materials, re-upholsterers each antique
chair or antique sofa matching patterns to ensure that your antique
chair is ready for another life time of use Better to spend a little
more at the outset on an antique chair that has been thoroughly checked
and vetted, you never know what you will find when the material comes
off sometimes it is all that is holding the frame together!!. More recently
we have been drawn to beautiful examples of antique gilt chairs which
can create a statement on their own. In this upholstery section you
