Superb Victorian Spelter Figure by Aug Moreau, of a Water Nymph

Circa 1860 this substantial Spelter Figure of a Nymph of the Water holding a reed bough is beautifully detailed, and signed Aug Moreau, a well respected French artist who specialised in spelter maidens and bronzes during the later part of the 19th Century. She is standing on a green onyx base with lovely ormolu feet.
