A particularly lovely example of a Pier Cabinet, having
very well defined burr walnut figured veneer. This piece also has canted corners
each surmounted with beautiful gilded foliated mounts, whilst above the door and
to the corners are bery fine marquetery inlays. Both the shaped plynth and sides
to theis cabinet have boxwood stringing. Inside are two walnut faced shelves.
The interior feauters its original plum velvet (now faintly faded but in very

A Victorian Period round shouldered glazed bookcase.
This example is completely original, and of lovely colour, raised on a plynth
are two cupboard doors each featuring arched panels, above these are two drawers
with again original brass handles. The bookcase top sits beneath a moulded cornice

rare amboyna banding to the top, sides, front and frieze complemented with further
boxwood stringing. This piece features canted corners which display freestanding
fluted pillasters surmounted by gilded accanthus capitals. Inside are 4 inscribed
leather faced shelves and below 3 vertical divisions for sheet music storage.
