Challen Baby Grand Piano

Measuring only 4ft 6" long this is the sort of piano that would suit all sizes of houses. Standing on 3 sets of double legs and brass casters this lovely Challen Baby Grand piano is in concert pitch, iron framed, overstrung and lovely to play. The piano itself having been with the same family for many years has been well maintained and regularly tuned. The case was in need of a revive and hence we have traditionally French polished it to bring it back to its former glory. Challen were an English manufacturer of pianos and the name Challen is associated with reliability and durability. In 1936 they signed a contract with the BBC and this ensured their popularity in every home across the Country. Having 88 keys in total, 36 ebony keys and 52 ivory keys the range is from bottom A to top C.
