a Perles Chandelier with 6 arms
This wonderful
antique Sac a Perles Chandelier dating to the early part of the 20th
century is simply gorgeous, the slender neck consists of graduated
hexagonal flat back crystals which attach to the pretty brass frame
with rope twist decoration. The base of the chandelier is of "purse"
construction with similar graduated hexagonal crystals interspersed
with rectangular Coffin drops. Six beautifully elegant brass arms
with acanthus detail attach to the central frame terminating in especially
pretty fretted brass bobeches. The pelmet has wonderful scrolling
acanthus detail which is again immitated on the original brass ceiling
rose which comes with the chandelier.
A fantastic centre piece which is certain to give that "WOW"
factor.
