A wonderful example of a late Victorian Burr Walnut Boudoir
Grand Piano by Ernst Kaps of Dresden. German pianos are notoriously
well respected and this one is particularly beautiful. The octagonal
legs supported by original brass bucket casters support the highly
figured body of the piano itself. This lovely example will come to
you fully repolished and in showroom condition. The interior is immaculate,
the hammers are almost as new and the felts are all good. Being overstrung
this is quite an unusual feature of such an early piano and as such
makes it highly desirable. Both internally and externally this is
a wonderful example and as such will be certain to create a statement
in the finest of homes.
