Stunning Edwardian inlaid rosewood settee

A beautiful example of a small Edwardian rosewood inlaid settee, reupholstered from a bare frame in a deep rich red damask with accanthus detail and co-ordinating red braid. The frame having beautiful marquetry panels on the arms depicting mandolins and musical instruments, this is again apparent on the top rail of the sofa and the panels under the overstuff arms. Standing on slender turned legs with line inlay and brass casters this is a beautiful elegant and comfortable sofa.
