A striking baby grand piano by Gors and Kallmann of Berlin, this extremely highly regarded company were in their time up there with the greatest piano makers, no longer in production this particular age of piano is highly desireable.The mahogany case has slight fading to the front but prior to delivery will go through our workshops where it will be traditionally french polished by hand to bring it back to its former glory. Standing on substantial tapered legs with original large brass bucket casters this piano certainly looks the part. Internally it is overstrung and iron framed and in concert pitch, the mechanism is modern (roller action) and will respond beautifully to the touch. The base note is A and the treble top note is C, making this piano have 52 ivory keys and 36 ebony keys. The registration number on the frame is 66636 dating this piano to 1930. Plays beautifully with a nice firm touch this is a piano that will grow with your ability and will suit all levels of player.
