Circa 1860 a truly superb Victorian
Bow fronted Chest of Drawers. This stunning example has excellent book paged flame
veneers to the bow fronted drawers each graduated with turned mahogany key escuteons
and turned mahogany handles with delicate mother of pearl insets. The top drawer
features a fabulous foliate frieze integral to that drawer. Flanking the drawers
are superb quality solid mahogany spiral twist columns projecting out from the
two front corners. The whole raised on attractive turned feet with a beautiful
shaped apron between. Colour is excellent being identical to a newly opened conker.
Absolutely stunning!
