A beautiful example of an Italian antique chandelier, dating to Circa
1930 this wonderful example of a "bag" or "purse"
style chandelier is larger than the majority one finds of a similar
style, it houses 3 bulbs instead of the more usual single bulb found
in these particular style of chandelier, and is in excellent condition,
simple and elegant in design it follows the design favoured in the
Georgian chandelier , the hexagonal flat back glass drops creating
a long slender neck suspended from a brass crown, the lower section
representative of a bag, the drops being held together by a small
brass finial at the base of the chandelier..
