Circa 1900, a solid Mahogany 9 Drawer Pedestal Desk of good proportions. The 2 pedestals raised on plinths and castors each feature 3 mahogany lined drawers whilst above are a frieze of 3 drawers, all finished with pierced solid brass cast handles (all original to this beautiful piece). All 9 locks are fully working and key provided. The top comprises of a genuine tooled leather skive (new and in a deep claret with gilt tooling) bordered by a broad band of mahogany with a bevelled edge.
